Not one of the supposed, media hyped, top candidates for Mayor of Toronto are fit to represent this city. We do not need someone to be "the Face of the city"; what we do need is a new mayor that will manage and develop this city in a manner that will please and excite the voter as to the city's future.
I am that man.
The development of the waterfront of this city is of premier importance to its fiscal and social development.
The waterfront will be the terminus of any mass transportation system i.e. the TTC, etc. Without a plan for the development of our waterfront any extension of or new transit route construction will create a nightmare for future transit users. Not one political candidate has so much as mentioned the waterfront of Toronto. If you have read my previous "posts" you will know that the new real estate capital and tax base generated by the development of the Toronto Waterfront is the key to reversing our city debt and financing a new central rapid transit system for Toronto. This development will help support ethnic minority housing sites and employment for 1000,s of people from professional to unskilled laborers. Our tax base will double and our prestige throughout Canada and the World will soar.
If elected I promise the people of Toronto a new, profitable and exciting waterfront extending into our daily lives; I promise fiscal responsibility in all aspects of the operations of our city. I promise not to be the "Face of the City"but only to work for the people of Toronto, to the best of my ability, with your help and your guidance.
Respectfully
Barry Goodhead
