This city needs TTC (Subway) expansion, the Gardiner Expressway fixed or removed, water and sewer lines updated and an expansion of  the existing bus services. What we get is a piece meal budget that does not meet our needs." A budget of political fear"

If we need the above then I suggest we bite the bullet and get it done. City Council is afraid to face the taxpayer on the costs involved and the increase in property tax necessary to achieve the desired results. They are afraid even to discuss the idea of a car permit into the inner core of the city. A combination of increased taxes and the permit (as above). at this point in time, are necessary to support the health and welfare of our city. We need to modernize our approach to city council politics. This means we must realize our needs and pay the costs involved.
