I Demand Rob Fords Resignation

The rules governing candidates for Mayor of Toronto, concerning campaign contributions, are simple. "No candidate can accept political campaign donations over $750 and all contributions must come from an individual not a corporate or business interest". At the end of the election Rob Ford, the elected candidate, owed $650,000 over  the total legal money donated to him during the election. Thus Rob Ford was in debt $650,000 in campaign expenses.

The election being over Rob Ford and two other top rated candidates in the last election have a party seeking donations from those attending to cover their losses. Mr Smitherman, also a candidate, being backed by the Ralph Lean QC, Cassels Brock, representing what I refer to as the "syndicate, had no remaining debt. He also attended the party. As a result Rob Ford is now out of debt thanks to the "syndicate" as represented by Mr. Leans' corporate clients. So after the election Mr Ford reaches out his hand and criminally violates the rules set out in Elections Toronto regarding campaign contributions.

What do I expect from the taxpayers of Toronto in regard to Mr. Fords criminality?... Nothing!!!!
When only less than 50% of the electorate vote, I expect the people of Toronto to do nothing! I expect Elections Toronto to do nothing! I expect Bill Blair and the Attorney General of Ontario to do nothing!

Basically, if the election was a horse race, the winning horse (Mr. Ford) came out of the gate with one jockey and showed up in the winners circle with a new jockey in the saddle.

Democracy my ass!!!
